Description

Workers building Plant No. 2, located at North Lubec Canal on the former site of Fowler's Plaster Mill. Hundreds of workers including Italian immigrants, worked at the site. The work was suspended in July of 1898 when Prescott Jernegan and Charles Fisher, the founders, disappeared.
